Young Leadership Group Executive Board Bios:
Michael Littenberg-Brown – Young Leadership Chairman and President

Born and raised in Cambridge, MA, Michael Littenberg-Brown is now living in New York City pursuing a Masters in International Affairs at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). Prior to going back to graduate school, Michael worked as a Regional Development Officer for Brown University, where he also received his undergraduate degree in Political Theory and Latin American Studies. Prior to working for Brown, Michael was Director of Sales at UniTeller Financial Services, now part of Banorte. Michael serves on the Board and is the Young Leadership Chairman for SACH.
Masha Girshin – Vice President

Masha Girshin is the Program Director of The Blue Card. Established in 1934, The Blue Card is a national non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to needy Holocaust survivors. Under her tenure and direction, the Blue Card created the highly successful marathon fundraiser program that has raised over $340,000 since 2009. She has also been successful in increasing Blue Card’s donor base through annual benefits, young leadership events and social media initiatives. Masha received an Interdisciplinary B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from Binghamton University in 2006 and she is currently pursuing her MBA at Pace University. Masha is the Vice Chair of SACH’s Young Leadership Executive Committee.
Melissa Jane Kronfeld – Director

A journalist and political consultant, Melissa Jane Kronfeld has a Bachelor and Master's degree in International Relations from George Washington University and New York University, respectively. A native and resident of New York City, Melissa is currently completing a Doctorate of Philosophy in Global Affairs at Rutgers University where she focuses on transnational terrorism issues. She has worked for the New York Post, The Daily Caller, Star Magazine and Government Security News and she has been featured on Politico, FoxNews.com, Fox 5 News in New York and the Fox Business Channel. Melissa currently serves as the Director and social media coordinator for SACH’s Young Leadership Executive Committee.
Michael Gershman – Treasurer

Michael Gershman is an Associate at Deutsche Bank, working in commercial real estate investment management in the Bank’s real estate arm, RREEF. He helps manage investments on behalf of pensions in office, retail, multi-family, and industrial properties on the East coast as part of a multi-billion dollar fund. Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the Stern School of Business at New York University, majoring in Economics and Finance. At NYU, he served in various student leadership roles, including as Senator representing the Stern School in the University Senate. He was born and raised in Moldova, former Soviet Union, and is fluent in Russian. Michael currently serves as the Treasurer for SACH’s Young Leadership Executive Committee.
Sloane Blair – Secretary

Sloane Blair is a California native and graduate of the University of California Berkeley School of Public Health. In 2009 she moved to Israel and joined SACH. With a natural talent and passion for working with children, SACH was a great fit for Sloane and she was thrilled to continue her involvement with the organization when she moved to New York City. A Registered Nurse, Sloane continues to share her love for SACH with family, friends and coworkers and hopes to join on a medical mission with the team one day. Sloane is the Secretary of SACH’s Young Leadership Executive Committee.
