Describe yourself and your background:
I grew up in Riverdale, New York, and was a proud member of the first graduating class of SAR High School. I spent a gap year in Israel studying at Midreshet Lindenbaum. Currently, I am a Junior at Barnard College majoring in Psychology.

What is your connection to SACH?
As an active member of Yavneh, the Orthodox community at the Columbia/Barnard Hillel, I was fortunate enough to become involved with Save A Child's Heart. Yavneh has planned an Annual Casino Night fundraiser to benefit SACH for a number of years, and when I became the Community Service Chair, I was very excited that I would have the opportunity to coordinate the event. I wanted to make this year's Casino Night even more successful than the previous ones by expanding its reach; to achieve this goal I invited Shalhevet, the Orthodox group at NYU, to join forces with Yavneh and work together to plan/advertise the event. Thanks to our combined efforts, the turnout was wonderful. An estimated 200 students from both Columbia and NYU gathered together on November 11th to play casino-style games and learn about the amazing work of Save A Child's Heart while raising crucial funds for the organization. We are excited to continue this tradition in future years and support SACH's amazing work!

Your hobbies/some interesting facts about yourself:
I really enjoy planning events and being involved with various community service initiatives. I spend the majority of my days at the Hillel on campus, meeting new people and taking advantage of the wonderful activities and resources that Hillel offers. I like listening to pop music, going to the beach, camping (although I'll admit more so in theory), and visiting Israel.
