I am originally from the Ukraine and grew up in NY and NJ. Currently I am a fourth year medical student at The George Washington School of Medicine and am applying for residency in pediatrics. I got involved with SACH several years ago when living in Israel during a year off from school. During my time there, I volunteered in both the Children's Home and shadowed doctors at the hospital, and returned to Israel last year for a medical rotation with SACH. Shortly after returning to the US, Eva Rybar contacted me with the idea of helping with the start-up of a SACH Young Professionals DC branch. With an amazing team and lots of hard work, we recently held a date auction as our launch event and are now holding a holiday card drive with the eventual goal of raising $10,000 to sponsor one child. As a Young Ambassador, I also hope to spread the word about this great organization and the wonderful work that it does. I also enjoy traveling (especially to Israel!), reading, and spending time outdoors.
