Part Time Volunteers

Part Time Volunteers can arrange between one and four shifts a week both at the Save a Child's Heart (SACH) children’s home and the Wolfson Medical Center.  All volunteers must complete an online application - see below for guidelines and application.

 SACH Children’s Home - The volunteer shifts are Sunday-Thursday from 9:00-12:00 and 16:00-18:00.  The children eat lunch and go kulala ('rest' in Swahili) in the middle of the day.  Your role is to plan activities for children of all ages who are both pre and post surgery.  Wolfson Medical Center - The volunteer shifts are more flexible in the hospital. The morning shift is anytime from 9:00-13:00 and the afternoon shift is from 13:00-18:00.  Your role in the hospital is to prepare bedside activities for the children like coloring, music and puzzles.  This is also the best time to meet and spend time with the Palestinian and Iraqi children and their escorts.  To learn more about the Wolfson Medical Center please click here.
