The children are in Israel on average for 2-3 months and the role of volunteers is to organize stimulating activities, to be a friend and a familiar face to the children and their escorts.
Our internships are designed to provide a behind the scenes look into Save a Child's Heart. The medical interns have the opportunity to further their education by shadowing the doctors at Wolfson Medical Center, and the general interns gain professional experience by working with the staff in SACH's main office in addition to spending time with the children and mothers.
