On Monday March 21st 2011, a ceremony was held in the Wolfson Medical Center to mark the donation of a dialysis machine, kindly donated by the following Rotary clubs - Rotary Club Holon in Israel, Rotary Club Annemasse Genevois in France, Rotary Club Appiano in Italy, Rotary Club Mill Hill in the United Kingdom and the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
The dialysis machine will be used in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon.
The event was attended by Dr. Yitzhak Berlovitz, Director of the Wolfson Medical Center, Moti Bar Dagan, District Governor of Rotary Israel, Mr. Ben Hur Yerushalmi, Chairman of The Friends of Wolfson Medical Center and PDG Yoram Cohen, Chairman of Save a Child’s Heart.
The ceremony also marked the 80th birthday of Mr. Walter Felman, Past President of RC Mill Hill and Chairman of Save a Child’s Heart UK, who has worked tirelessly to support the Save a Child's Heart mission. Walter was presented with a plaque, thanking him for his commitment and dedication to saving the lives of thousands of children around the world.
The Master of Ceremonies was PP Amiram Van Kloten, the Matching Grants Coordinator of Rotary Israel.
