Shirlee Harel is presently working as the Young Leadership Director at Save a Child's Heart (SACH).

After completing her Masters of Education degree at York University in Toronto, Shirlee made aliyah to Israel in May 2008. While living in Toronto, Shirlee worked as a special education teacher after completing her Bachelor of Education degree at McGill University.

Since, she has worked for York University where she lectured on topics related to Special Education and implemented a mentorship program to help promote equity in public education.
