Fatma Sarsour is an Israeli-Arab currently studying for her BA in Psychology and English Literature at Tel Aviv University.
In 2007, she heard about the Save a Child's Heart organization and began to come regularly to the hospital, volunteering her time to help the Palestinian patients.
After six months, Fatma was hired as Save a Child's Heart's Arabic translator. She actually functions as a social worker supporting the families in the difficult days during their child's hospitalization. Being fluent in Arabic, Hebrew and English, she is a great asset to the patients, the staff and our many volunteers.
