Dawn Mizrahi was born and raised in England where she studied languages and secretarial skills. She spent several years working for a non-profit organization in San Francisco before immigrating to Israel in 1996. 

After working for three years for a chemical company, Dawn returned to the non-profit world when she met the founder of Save a Child's Heart, Dr. Ami Cohen. 

In 1999, Dawn assisted in the set-up of the Save a Child's Heart office and after a year moved from the Save a Child's Heart office to the Wolfson Medical Center where she became the secretary to Dr. Cohen and the pediatric cardiac department as well as English secretary to the adult cardiothoracic surgery department.

Dawn and her husband, Oved, live in Ramat Gan and have three young sons.
