Prof. Tiberiu Ezri was born in Romania where he studied medicine at the University School of Medicine in Timisoara. Upon arrival in Israel, Prof. Ezri served in the Israeli armed forces where he reached the rank of Major.
Prof. Ezri received his specialization certificate in anesthesia at the Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot. He stayed at Kaplan for over fifteen years becoming Deputy Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Head of the Postanesthesia Unit. In 2000, Prof. Ezri was appointed Head of the Anesthesia Department at the Wolfson Medical Center.
Prof. Ezri spent ten years as a visiting assistant professor at the University of Texas Medical School. He maintains a close relationship with the University of Texas, where, for several years, until 2004, he worked as a staff anesthesiologist for one month every year.
Prof. Ezri is an Associate Professor at Tel Aviv University's Sackler School of Medicine. He serves on several professional societies and has been a reviewer of many medical journals. He has presented papers at over 100 scientific meetings, as well as having over 150 manuscripts published.
