Dr. Ilan Cohen was born and raised in Israel.
He is a graduate of Tel Aviv University's Sackler School of Medicine. After completing his residency in pediatrics at the Wolfson Medical Center, Dr. Cohen took a two-year fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine. This was followed by a three year fellowship in the Pediatric Critical Care Unit of the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
In 2004, Dr. Cohen returned to Israel and the Wolfson Medical Center, where he is currently an attending physician in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Dr. Cohen is a superb intensivist with outstanding skills. He takes active participation in Save a Child's Heart missions abroad and plays an important role in educating physicians that come to our program for post-graduate training.
