Chaya Museri was born in Poland and came to Israel in 1957.
She studied nursing at the School of Nursing at the Wolfson Medical Center, followed by a course in operating room nursing at the Tel HaShomer Medical Center. Chaya has been a nurse at the Wolfson Medical Center for over 30 years and she has been working in the cardiothoracic operating room for 24 years. Since 1991, Chaya has been the Head Nurse for both adult and pediatric heart surgeries and has been with Save a Child's Heart since its beginnings.
