Flavius is a four-year old, only child whose family lives in Timisoara, 300km from Bukarest, Romania.
On April 20th, 2006 Flavius arrived to the Wolfson Medical Center, for his second surgery through the Save a Child's Heart Program, his first surgery was carried out in November 2002.
At birth Flavius was diagnosed with Pulmonic Artesia with intact septum, which is a congenital heart malformation in which there is no luminal continuity between the right ventricular chamber and the pulmonary arteries. Flavius has never been to playschool as his mother worries that he will be exposed to viruses. He was very shy of people, but slowly he began making friends in the SACH house.
Flavius underwent surgery on the 25th of May 2006 carried out by Dr. Lior Sasson and his team.
After a short stay back at the SACH house, Flavius and his very happy mother flew back home on June 16th, 2006.
