Emmanuel, age two, arrived together with his mother to SACH on 30.01.2007 from Nigeria. He is a sweet child with a ready smile and twinkle in his eye.
Emmanuel was diagnosed with a cardiac defect called Tetralogy of Fallot known as TOF in which there is a large hole between the two ventricles of the heart and there is severe obstruction of the blood flow to the arteries of the lungs. Several other medical problems were addressed and treated both before and after surgery
Dr. Sasson and his team completely repaired his TOF on 26.03.2007 without any complications. After a recuperation period both in hospital and at the SACH House where Emmanuel continued to dazzle us with his smile and cheery disposition, he and his mother returned to Nigeria on 03.05.2007
