The pediatric cardiac surgery training program includes the following components:

• Participating in daily department rounds. 
• Participating in all the department’s academic activities. 
• Participating in pediatric and adult cardiac surgery. 
• Learning the basics of echocardiography and transoesopageal. 
• Participating in the post operative care of the patients in the intensive care unit and the pediatric intensive care unit. 
• Learning all the diverse congenital anomalies and planning the treatment.
